This free workshop will help guide companies currently certified and/or seeking state and federal contracting opportunities on how to create and update procurement registrations portals, a mandatory registration profile companies are required to create.

This workshop is intended to help maximize a company’s governmental presence through the following registration portals:

  • System for Award Management (SAM)
  • Certify SBA
  • SBA Dynamic Search
  • DnB
  • Fedbizzops (FBO) databases

Workshop objectives include:

  • How to register, update and utilize SAM, Certify SBA and FBO Portals among others
  • Brief understanding of the history of procurement registration portals and how agencies/contractors use them
  • Pros and cons of each portal
  • The reasoning behind how often profiles should be updated
  • Ways in which agencies use these databases when looking for small, certified businesses
  • How to make your profile stand out
  • The most important aspects of marketing to state and federal agencies
