Partner Events



The Minority Business Office partners with several organizations throughout the state which provide free and low-cost business training courses, workshops, networking events and conferences for minority- and women-owned businesses, designed to help you and your business grow.

COLORADO SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER NETWORK
The Colorado SBDC Network has 14 full-time locations and more than 70 part-time satellite offices which offer training courses on everything from starting a business, to building a website, to more targeted courses for disadvantaged businesses including certifications, procurement, and more.

Connect2DOT
The Connect2DOT program is a partnership between the Colorado Department of Transportation and the Colorado SBDC Network. It offers training sessions, networking opportunities and outreach event hosted by both Connect2DOT and industry partners.

CITY AND COUNTY OF DENVER
The City and County of Denver regularly provides free two-hour training and informational seminars on how to certify your business. The first hour is an overview of the different certifications and the second walks you through the Unified Certification Process Application. The seminars are offered monthly from 9-11 am.

MI CASA RESOURCE CENTER
Mi Casa hosts a variety of business development services, including entrepreneurial training, business counseling and quarterly resource fairs and networking events. The not for profit also hosts legal nights, where individuals can receive free legal information from volunteer attorneys.

COLORADO PROCUREMENT TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CENTER
Colorado PTAC provides procurement technical assistance in the form of free counseling and free or low-cost training events. Training topics include government contracting, government outreach, overviews of SBA federal programs, hiring and more.
